Nobel Prize 2017 attributed to research on circadian rhythms

Medicine Nobel Prize 2017 winners

The CLOCKWORK consortium is happy today, the 2th october, because the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 2017 was awarded jointly to Jeffrey C. Hall, Michael Rosbash, and Michael W. Young. The Nobel Academy attributed the award to these researchers for their “discoveries of molecular mechanisms controlling the circadian rhythm”, a topic very keen to the Clockwork team.

At Clockwork, we aim to improve the circadian rhythms of middle-aged to older adults working in shifts, thus it is great to see other researchers excelling on research around our topic.

Congratulations to all researchers involved in these discoveries!
